PRINCETON, N.J. - Despite a comeback in the second set, Harvard men's volleyball was unable to edge Princeton on Friday evening, falling 3-0 to the Tigers at Dillon Gym.
Casey White led the Crimson (9-13, 6-7 EIVA) attack with 13 kills, while Erik Johnsson and Trevor Dow added 13 and six kills, respectively. Matthew Ctvrtlik added 23 assists to lead Harvard, with support from Marko Kostich who registered 13 helpers and one service ace.
A strong effort by the Princeton attack (.468), helped the host Tigers to a three-set victory – 25-20, 27-25, 25-18. The Crimson were held to a .279 attack percentage on the evening, despite a strong third set (.320). Harvard falls to 19-36 in the all-time series against the Tigers.
Harvard will close out the regular season at NJIT tomorrow at 4 p.m. The match will be streamed on Game Central.
