Max Lipsitz earnes the EIVA Uvaldo
Acosta Player of the Year for his overall season
performance: Had made the EIVA All-East First
Team and was the EIVA Player of the Week (3/22) and
made the Outrigger Invitational All-Tournament
Team. Lipsitz leads the nation in hitting percentage
(.520). He is ranked ninth in the nation in blocks per
set. Max leads the team in blocks (139) and blocks per
set (1.42). He is third on team in kills (351) and
kills per set (3.58). In 2010, Lipsitz contributed eight aces and
52 digs. Max led the team in kills four times and blocks 21
times . He ranks second on Penn State’s career block
assists list (445) and fourth in career total blocks (487).
