Sweitzer aided the Nittany Lions in capturing two important wins against MIVA opponents. Against Ball State, Ryan had 14 kills and adding two aces, six digs and four blocks. At Ohio State, the junior had 19 kills on .424 hitting with one ace, five digs and three blocks. For the weekend, Sweitzer averaged 4.71 kills per game on .328 hitting and totaled 3 aces, 11 digs and 7 blocks.
