Springfield Sweeps Past UNH, 3-0

West Haven, Conn. -- Ryan Frederickson led all players with 14 kills as Springfield College swept the University of New Haven in EIVA men's volleyball action at Charger Gymnasium on Thursday night. The Pride won by scores of 30-21, 30-16, 32-30.

Frederickson and Andy Sipe (10 kills on .533 hitting) led Springfield, which improved its EIVA record to 6-1 and moved to 15-6 overall this season.

Three other players had five kills apiece for the Pride. New Haven (7-7, 0-4 EIVA) was led by Tommy Musto (photo) with 12 kills. Drew Kirkeby had 10 kills, while senior libero Omar Ramirez led all players with nine digs.

Setter Kevin Goncalves had four kills, 24 assists and a pair of service aces.
