2005-06 News Archives
The clock is ticking away and a new year is approaching and with
it comes the start of the 2006 EIVA Men's Volleyball Season.
Penn State received all but one vote for first place in the Tait
Division. If they ultimately secure the number one position, they
will continue their streak of EIVA Championships with eight
consecutive wins. The Tait Division welcomes St. Francis to their
ranks after a tough fight with Queens for the position. The
revamped Hay Division will compete against their opponent home and
away. (There will not be cross-over matches as the Sweeney Division
no longer exists.) Harvard received the most first place votes for
the Hay Division. Their strong play last year must have contributed
to the confidence of the coaches when voting. This year should
prove to be another exciting year of volleyball.
